About

Hi, I'm Rebecca.

I created The Garage Door Marketing Playbook after spending several years leading marketing for a multi-market residential garage door company.

When I started, I didn't have all the answers.

Like most people, I learned by doing.

I made mistakes. I tested ideas. I listened to people who knew more than I did. I looked at the data, adjusted, and kept improving.

As the company grew, so did the marketing department. I helped build the team from the ground up, figuring out what skills we needed, hiring the right people, creating new processes, solving problems as they came up, and constantly looking for better ways to do things.

Along the way, I had the opportunity to share what we were learning by speaking at industry conferences and collaborating with other professionals in the home service space. Those experiences reinforced something I already believed: while there's no shortage of marketing advice online, there aren't many practical resources built specifically for garage door companies.

Some of our biggest lessons came from things that didn't go as planned.

Google changed. Marketing platforms evolved. We expanded into new markets, acquired companies, and faced new challenges with every stage of growth. Every challenge taught me something new.

Over time, I realized marketing isn't about finding the perfect tactic.

It's about building good systems.

Having a process.

Knowing what to look at first when something isn't working.

That's the idea behind this playbook.

It isn't a course, and it isn't meant to replace a marketing agency.

It's the resource I wish I'd had when I was trying to figure everything out, a place to organize ideas, solve problems faster, and make better marketing decisions without starting from scratch every time.

Every template, checklist, framework, and worksheet in this playbook was created by me based on what I've learned throughout my career in the garage door industry. They're not copies of internal company documents. They're original resources I've developed to help other garage door companies build stronger marketing systems.

If something in here saves you time, helps you avoid a mistake, or gives you a clearer direction for your marketing, then I've accomplished what I set out to do.

Thanks for being here.
